About Georgia’s Legacy

Georgia’s Legacy is an ongoing tribute to the life of a beautiful bulldog named Georgia, cut short by multicentric lymphoma.  The purpose of Georgia’s Legacy is to provide information and resource referral to others whose four-legged family members have been diagnosed with cancer.  Most of all, Georgia’s Legacy was created to provide hope and emotional support to those in the fight.

Georgia’s Legacy does not provide veterinary information or medical advice, and always recommends consulting with your veterinarian prior to introducing any dietary changes, supplements or other holistic therapies into your dog’s treatment plan.

Georgia’s Legacy is based in Wisconsin, but provides support and information to Anyone, Anywhere, who is affected by canine cancer, and has helped individuals from all over the world since its inception in 2007.

Georgia’s Legacy is not a non-profit organization.  It is a grass roots effort of pet owners helping other pet owners.  By sharing information and supporting each other, we all learn and we are all able to better help our beloved fur kids.

Georgia’s Legacy does not focus on fundraising, and does not accept donations.  Instead, it supports existing organizations who are fighting canine cancer, either through research or by providing cancer treatments.  Georgia’s Legacy encourages every pet owner to give what they can to support these excellent organizations, as we all have a stake in fighting canine cancer — it can happen to any of our dogs, at any point in their lives.
